THE UNIVERSE UNTOLD

Join me on a journey through the stars, exploring the enchanted , the magical and the hidden treasures of the universe. So much of the universe is left untold and so through this exhibition I want to take you on a journey of inspiration, love, truth and finding our inner child.

In this collection, I have been working with a range of different mediums. I began the collection by sketching from inspiration of journaling and meditation. I had this sketchbook which has been sitting in my room now untouched for a few years, with only one sketch on the first page, until now. Over the past year  I have sketched and created work, using influences from prompts and nature, combining them with the celestial world to capture the secrets of the universe and to tell the story of a journey through the stars and finding your truest self.

I am very proud of this collection as it is very close to my heart, exploring concepts I've wanted to create for a while now. I feel like the collection as a whole really embraces the magic of the natural universe.

I SEE HER GLOW

By Jordain Molloy Gillen

As I walk along the snowy path

I see her peaking through the clouds

behind the sun, I see her glow

There she rests overlooking my home.

Look Up

By Jordain Molloy Gillen

Look up, look up to sky above

to the trees that bow before our head

to the birds that fly and glide through the air

to the loved ones in heaven, no longer by our side

to the dreams we created, flowing through our mind

Look up, look up past the clouds up high

see the twinkling stars as they shine through the sky

see the tops of the hills, where adventure awaits

see the earth as it grows,

mapping new journeys for you to take

Look up and listen, there's no time to waste

The Top of The Hill

By Jordain Molloy Gillen

Today I ran to the top of the hill

In the light of the golden Sun

The sky so blue, no cloud to be seen

As I walked through Downhill Mansion

I sat on the edge of the window

As my cloak gently blew in the wind

admiring the view from the top of the hill

as the rest of the earth stood still

I could feel mother nature, caressing my skin

I could see all the fields from a far

The freedom I had in this moment

By the sea on the top of the hill
